Filvit Allergen Neutralizing Spray 400 ml combines microencapsulation technology with a specific formula to reduce the allergen load in household textiles (mattresses, pillows, sofas, bedding, and curtains). Its encapsulating action traps and neutralizes fragments of dust mites, pollen, mold particles, and pet dander, decreasing the likelihood of their release and inhalation during household activities.
Microencapsulation creates an adherent and breathable polymer matrix on textile fibers that immobilizes allergens in microencapsulated particles. This process prolongs effectiveness for up to six months after a single application, depending on fabric use and cleaning. The result is a sustained reduction of allergens in the areas where they accumulate and are released most: mattresses, pillows, duvets, upholstery, and household textiles.
Formulated for domestic use with a composition based on hypromellose and vinyl alcohol polymers that promote the formation of the microencapsulating film, it also includes emollients and dispersion stabilizers. Application is simple: spray from 20–30 cm, allow to dry, and avoid vacuuming surfaces for 24–72 hours to allow for complete microcapsule adhesion.
Ideal for people with respiratory sensitivities who are looking to reduce their allergen load without resorting to invasive treatments; it is also a practical choice for families with pets and children (following the warnings).

Is it safe to use in homes with pets and children?

Can I apply the product to any textile?
It is recommended for most household textiles (mattresses, pillows, duvets, sofas, curtains). Test on an inconspicuous area first on delicate or non-washable fabrics (silk, suede, leather). Do not apply to surfaces that will come into direct contact with food.
Is it necessary to rinse it or wash the surface after application?

How does cleaning or washing textiles affect effectiveness?
