CL-Exidin 4% Shampoo is a veterinary shampoo formulated for the therapeutic hygiene of dogs and cats. It combines a powerful antimicrobial action with emollient agents that respect the skin barrier. Its active ingredient, 4% chlorhexidine digluconate, offers broad-spectrum antibacterial and antifungal activity, effective as a treatment and adjunct in cases of dermatitis, pyoderma, and other skin infections. The formulation includes glycerin and ethoxylated lanolin to replenish and retain moisture, preventing dryness that can worsen inflammation. It also contains surfactants and thickeners that facilitate application and lather formation, allowing for thorough cleansing of the coat without irritating the skin.
