Insectron Crawling Insects 300 ml is a lacquer/aerosol formulation intended for the domestic control of crawling insects. It contains cyfenothrin (0.75%) and imiprotin (0.08%) in a base of excipients, naphtha, and repellent.
The combination provides a shock effect on adult individuals and, in addition, a prolonged residual action that interferes with the biological cycle of the treated populations, maintaining insecticidal activity on the treated surfaces for extended periods (up to one year of persistence under suitable conditions).
The product is designed for localized application in cracks, baseboards, door and window surrounds, around furniture and equipment where arthropods tend to take refuge.
As an aerosol lacquer, it allows for the deposition of a thin, continuous layer that acts as a barrier and contact area. It is not an antimicrobial product: it does not eliminate bacteria, viruses, or fungi; its specificity is against crawling arthropods.
The formulation declares biodegradability and absence of bioaccumulation, which reduces the risk of long-term environmental persistence, although it maintains acute toxicity to aquatic organisms and flammability risk due to the propellant and naphtha present.
Therefore, its use requires controlled and localized application, avoiding dispersion into the environment and contamination of food and personal hygiene items (toothbrushes, mouthwash, deodorants, bath/shower gels, feminine hygiene products). It is not suitable for aerial application or for porous surfaces such as untreated wood.

Does it work against bacteria, viruses, or fungi?
