What type of animals is it suitable for?

Indicated in dogs and cats for protection and treatment of irritated or worn paw pads; especially useful in working, sporting or elderly animals and in rehabilitation processes of minor damage.

How long does it take to work and how long does the effect last?

The protective film forms within minutes. Its duration varies depending on activity and water exposure, typically lasting for several days under walking conditions and without prolonged immersion.

Can the animal lick the area after application?

Immediate ingestion is not recommended. After application, the film needs a few minutes to dry; premature licking reduces effectiveness and may increase the risk of ingesting the ingredients.

Can it be used on open or deep wounds?

It is not appropriate for deep wounds, extensive ulcers, or advanced skin infections. In such cases, veterinary evaluation and treatment are necessary before any topical use.

Does it cause allergies or sensitization?

It contains formaldehyde and picric acid, which may cause reactions in sensitive individuals. It is recommended to monitor the skin and discontinue use if erythema, edema, or persistent itching appears, consulting a veterinarian.

How should it be stored?

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and untreated pets. Avoid extreme temperatures.

2. The product glides over the entire surface, depositing a uniform layer with a varnish-like effect.

3. After application, wait a few minutes for the film to form and avoid immediate licking.

4. For irritated pads: apply once a day for one or two weeks.

5. For preventive use before periods of exertion (hunting, racing, competitions): apply every 2–3 days for the three weeks prior to the start of the activity.

6. In case of continued exposure to water or loss of the film, repeat the application according to clinical need and activity.
