Seraquin Omega features a specific formulation to preserve canine joint health and modulate inflammatory processes related to arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Each chewable tablet provides glucosamine HCl and chondroitin sulfate, structural precursors of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans of cartilage; omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) with systemic anti-inflammatory activity; and turmeric extract with active ingredients that reinforce the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant response.
The combination helps reduce cartilage degradation, promote joint matrix synthesis, and improve joint function and comfort.
Glucosamine provides substrate for glycosaminoglycan synthesis; chondroitin sulfate inhibits degradative enzymes and improves water retention in the matrix; EPA and DHA modulate the production of inflammatory mediators (eicosanoids) and decrease inflammatory recruitment in joint tissues; turmeric acts on inflammatory and oxidative stress pathways, enhancing the action of omega-3 fatty acids.
