Tabernil AD3E is a specific oral solution for birds (canaries, budgies, goldfinches, lovebirds, pigeons) formulated to meet their needs for essential fat-soluble vitamins during the reproductive cycle. Its profile combines vitamin A to stimulate fertility and sexual instinct; vitamin D3 to regulate calcium and phosphorus metabolism and ensure proper eggshell formation and embryonic development; and vitamin E (α-tocopherol) to protect the reproductive glands and prevent sperm degeneration and muscular dystrophy in embryos.
Applied preventively and during critical phases (20 days before mating and during egg laying in specified cycles), it improves fertility rates, reduces problems related to fragile eggshells, and promotes more vigorous embryos. Its aqueous excipient allows for easy dosing in drinking water, facilitating its use in aviaries and homes. It provides targeted intervention in the reproductive cycle without altering the feeding routine. Veterinary supervision is recommended for dosage adjustment based on species, physiological state, and breeding conditions.

For which species is this product suitable?
It is indicated for canaries, budgies, goldfinches, lovebirds, pigeons and other ornamental birds during the breeding period or when there is a risk/deficiency of vitamins A, D3 and E.
When should I start administering it?
It is recommended to start 20 days before mating and maintain during laying following the indicated scheme (5 days of treatment and 10 days of rest), always adjusting according to veterinary criteria.
What is the dosage and how is it administered?
Add 4 ml per liter of drinking water (equivalent to 4 drops per 40 ml of water). Prepare the medicated water daily and adhere to the treatment cycles.
Can I manage it all year round?
Continuous use is not recommended in birds that are not in their breeding period or that do not have any deficiencies. Consult your veterinarian before administering outside the recommended period.
Is there a risk of overdose?
Yes. Because these are fat-soluble vitamins (A, D3, E), there is a risk of toxicity if the dose is exceeded. Do not exceed the recommended dosage without veterinary supervision.
Can it be mixed with other medications or supplements?
Always consult with an avian veterinarian; some mixtures may alter vitamin absorption or interact with medications.
How to store the product?
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
- Standard dosage: Add 4 ml of solution per liter of drinking water. This is equivalent to 4 drops per 40 ml of water (adjust if the dropper on your container has a different flow rate).
- Prepare medicated water daily. Do not leave medicated water for more than 24 hours.
- Recommended regimen during the reproductive period: start 20 days before mating; administer in cycles of 5 days of treatment followed by 10 days of rest; repeat according to reproductive needs and veterinary assessment.
- Ensure that the birds consume the medicated water; remove other sources of non-medicated water during treatment to guarantee the supply.
- In intensive breeding situations or species with different water consumption, adjust the dosage by a specialized veterinarian.
