Is it suitable to completely replace maternal milk?
Yes. It is formulated as a substitute for maternal milk for orphaned or rejected puppies, providing balanced nutrition; however, maternal contact has additional benefits (temperature, natural breastfeeding) and it should always be supervised by a veterinarian.
How is it properly prepared?
Dissolve 1 level teaspoon (≈3 g) in 3 measures of warm water (15 ml) at about 40 °C. Shake vigorously until homogeneous and to avoid lumps. Prepare the milk at each feeding and do not keep the prepared mixture beyond the time recommended by the veterinarian (usually use immediately).
How much should I give according to the puppy's age?
The amount varies by age and weight. As a general guideline, the first weeks require frequent feedings (every 2–4 hours) with small amounts; consult the veterinarian’s feeding chart for specific dosages.
Can it be used in adult dogs or cats?
It is designed for dogs; use in adults may be considered as a supplement in cases of convalescence or aging under veterinary supervision. It is not specifically formulated for cats.
How should the product be stored?
Keep in a cool, dry place, with the container tightly closed. Avoid moisture and heat sources. Check the expiration date before use.
Can it cause allergies or intolerances?
Contains dairy products (partially lactose-free). In case of a history of food allergy or severe intolerance, consult the veterinarian before administration.
Dissolve 1 level teaspoon of concentrate (approx. 3 g) in 15 ml (3 measures) of warm water at 40 °C. Shake vigorously until a homogeneous lump-free mixture is obtained. Prepare the milk at each feeding; do not store reconstituted mixtures for long periods. Administer with a special feeding bottle for puppies or oral syringe as needed by the animal. Adjust the amount and frequency of feedings according to age, weight, and veterinary recommendations. For baby cereal-type mixtures (weaning), mix reconstituted milk with wet or soaked dry food until the desired consistency is obtained.
- Prepare the milk at each feeding to ensure hygiene and prevent microbial growth.
- Keep the water at 40 °C to facilitate dissolution; never use very hot water.
- Avoid lump formation by shaking vigorously or using a small whisk.
- Do not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment: in case of diarrhea, vomiting, lack of suction, or weight loss, consult a veterinarian immediately.
- In very weak or premature puppies, start feeding under veterinary supervision to adjust concentration and frequency.
- Do not administer to species for which it is not indicated without professional consultation.
- Check the temperature of the milk before offering it (avoid very hot).

Recommended recipe: Soft weaning baby cereal for puppies
Ingredients (per serving):
- 15 ml of warm water (40 °C)
- 1 level teaspoon (≈3 g) of milk replacer powder
- 10–15 g of puppy food (dry or wet)
Preparation:
1. Reconstitute the milk by mixing 3 g of powder in 15 ml of warm water until homogeneous.
2. Slightly crush the dry food or use wet food.
3. Mix the reconstituted milk with the crushed food until a soft and homogeneous baby cereal is obtained.
4. Offer with a spoon or in a shallow dish; the consistency should allow the puppy to lick easily.
Tips: start with more liquid cereals and gradually thicken as the puppy develops the sucking reflex and chewing. Prepare small fresh portions at each feeding.
Suggested diet (guideline; adapt with veterinarian)
Puppies 0–2 weeks: feeding with milk replacer every 2–3 hours (including nights). Small frequent feedings; consult dosage by weight.
Puppies 2–4 weeks: every 3–4 hours; start introducing baby cereals with milk replacer and rehydrated kibble; progressively increase consistency.
Puppies 4–8 weeks: gradual transition to starter kibble. Reduce night feedings; offer 3–4 feedings daily. Use milk as a supplement until complete weaning.
Pregnant/lactating females: use as a caloric and vitamin supplement during late pregnancy and breastfeeding to complement the usual diet; adjust portions according to body condition and veterinary recommendations.
Geriatric/convalescent dogs: use as a food supplement to improve caloric intake and facilitate digestion; offer in small frequent feedings and monitor tolerance.
Note: this diet is indicative. Exact amounts depend on weight, age, breed, and clinical condition. Always consult a veterinarian before establishing a feeding plan.
