Iron is a mineral that is necessary for many important functions in the body. By following a balanced diet, iron levels should remain normal. If we include foods such as red meat, legumes, nuts, eggs, cereals and green leafy vegetables in our diet, we will provide the iron reserves that our body needs naturally.
