The skin-colored fabric strips offer a practical and technical solution for the protection of superficial wounds and minor abrasions.
Designed with a hypoallergenic textile support, they combine flexibility and resistance to adapt to body contours (joints, fingers, curved areas) without compromising fixation.
The adhesive layer, formulated with a UV-sensitive co-polymeric acrylic, provides stable adhesion that makes it easy to keep the dressing in place during normal activities, including exposure to moisture from showers or short washes.
The structure incorporates a layer of transparent, perforated LDPE gauze that helps to drain and contain minimal exudate, keeping the wound bed isolated from external agents.
Although these dressings act as a physical barrier that reduces the entry of contaminants and decreases the risk of colonization by environmental bacteria, they are not formulated to eliminate microorganisms (bacteria, viruses or fungi); their main function is protection and light absorption.
Due to their design, they are suitable for superficial cuts, abrasions, and already protected sutures, provided that the injury shows no signs of infection or active bleeding.
The combination of skin color and textile support facilitates aesthetic discretion in everyday applications, making it a frequent choice in home, sports and travel first aid kits.
Its water resistance allows coverage to be maintained during routine hygiene activities such as bath gels or shower gel; however, the technical recommendation is to change the dressing at least every 24 hours or sooner if the adhesive loses stickiness, the gauze becomes saturated, or dirt appears.
They are not reusable; each strip is a single-use product, individually packaged to preserve its condition until opened.
In wounds with moderate or deep exudate, infected wounds, extensive burns, or cuts requiring stitches, the appropriate course of action is to choose more absorbent dressings or undergo clinical assessment.
Proper management includes prior cleaning of the affected area and monitoring for signs of infection (increasing redness, heat, intense pain, foul-smelling discharge, or fever).
If skin reactions to the adhesive occur, it is recommended to discontinue its use and evaluate hypoallergenic alternatives.
From a storage and logistics perspective, the presentation in a box with 20 units facilitates restocking in home and professional first aid kits.

What types of wounds are they suitable for?
Suitable for superficial cuts and abrasions and minor scratches with minimal exudate. Not appropriate for deep wounds, extensive burns, or active bleeding requiring professional attention.
Does the dressing eliminate bacteria, viruses, or fungi?
They do not eliminate microorganisms. They act as a physical barrier that reduces exposure and the risk of environmental contamination, but they do not have intrinsic disinfectant or antimicrobial properties.
How long does it protect the wound?
They provide continuous protection for several hours; the technical recommendation is to change the dressing at least every 24 hours or sooner if it becomes wet, dirty or the adhesive loses adhesion.
Can they get wet in the shower?
Yes, they are water-resistant for short exposures such as showers; however, adhesive effectiveness may be reduced after multiple immersions or friction.
Are they hypoallergenic?
The backing is hypoallergenic, designed to minimize skin reactions; however, irritation may occur in individuals with known hypersensitivity to acrylic adhesives.
Can they be reused?
No. Each strip is for single use only and must be discarded after removal.
How are they removed?
Dispose of as household waste according to local regulations; do not throw into the environment or down the toilet.
When should you consult a professional?
If the wound shows signs of infection (increased pain, progressive redness, heat, foul-smelling discharge, fever) or if the injury is deep or does not stop bleeding.
1. Cleaning: Clean the area with saline solution or water and neutral soap to remove dirt and debris. Drying: Gently dry the surrounding skin without rubbing the wound.
2. Opening: Remove the strip from the individual packaging, keeping the gauze clean.
3. Removal of protective film: remove the protective film from the adhesive, avoiding touching the contact surface of the gauze.
4. Application: Place the gauze over the wound; apply the strip in the center and apply light pressure to the edges to ensure even adhesion. Avoid excessive tension that may cause creases.
5. Monitoring: Check seal and comfort; change the dressing if it becomes wet, soiled, or loses adherence. Recommended frequency: at least every 24 hours or as clinically indicated.
- Product for external use; keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use on deep wounds, extensive burns, actively bleeding wounds, or visibly infected lesions. In these cases, seek medical attention.
- Discontinue use and consult a doctor if persistent erythema, localized itching, blisters or any suspicious skin reaction appears.
- Each strip is for single use only; do not reuse.
- Avoid placing on skin with creams, oils or lotions that decrease adhesion.
- Remove carefully, avoiding pulling out excessive hair in areas with hair; in cases of fragile skin, moisten the edge with warm water to facilitate removal.
- Do not dispose of in the environment or sewer system; follow local waste regulations.
- Keep in its original packaging until ready to use and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
-Box with 20 units (adhesive strips of skin-colored fabric), each unit individually packaged.
