The skin-colored fabric strips offer a practical and technical solution for the protection of superficial wounds and minor abrasions.
Designed with a hypoallergenic textile support, they combine flexibility and resistance to adapt to body contours (joints, fingers, curved areas) without compromising fixation.
The adhesive layer, formulated with a UV-sensitive co-polymeric acrylic, provides stable adhesion that makes it easy to keep the dressing in place during normal activities, including exposure to moisture from showers or short washes.
The structure incorporates a layer of transparent, perforated LDPE gauze that helps to drain and contain minimal exudate, keeping the wound bed isolated from external agents.
Although these dressings act as a physical barrier that reduces the entry of contaminants and decreases the risk of colonization by environmental bacteria, they are not formulated to eliminate microorganisms (bacteria, viruses or fungi); their main function is protection and light absorption.
