Taberdog Milk for Dogs Powder 250 grams

- Replaces mother's milk in orphaned or rejected puppies.
- Supports lactation in large litters or with insufficient milk production.
- Nutritional supplement for pregnant or lactating females.
- Easily digestible formula (partially lactose-free) and fast rehydration.
- Provides essential vitamins and minerals for growth and recovery.
- Strengthens elderly or sick dogs that need concentrated nutritional support.
- Practical preparation: stable powder, homogeneous mixture without lumps if shaken correctly.

Is it suitable to completely replace breast milk?
Yes. It is formulated as a substitute for mother's milk for orphaned or rejected puppies, providing balanced nutrition; however, maternal contact has additional benefits (temperature, natural nursing) and should always be supervised by a veterinarian.

How is it prepared correctly?
Dissolve 1 level teaspoon (≈3 g) in 3 measures of warm water (15 ml) at approximately 40°C. Shake vigorously until homogeneous and free of lumps. Prepare the milk at each feeding and do not store the prepared mixture beyond the time recommended by the veterinarian (generally use immediately).

How much should I give according to the puppy's age?
The amount varies by age and weight. As a general guideline, the first few weeks require frequent feedings (every 2–4 hours) with small amounts; consult your veterinarian's feeding chart for specific dosages.

Can it be used on adult dogs or cats?
It is designed for dogs; use in adults may be considered as a supplement in cases of convalescence or aging under veterinary supervision. It is not specifically formulated for cats.

How is the product preserved?
Store in a cool, dry place with the container tightly closed. Avoid moisture and heat sources. Check the expiration date before use.

Can it cause allergies or intolerances?
Contains dairy products (partially lactose-free). If your pet has a history of food allergies or severe intolerance, consult your veterinarian before administering.

Dissolve 1 level teaspoon of concentrate (approx. 3 g) in 15 ml (3 scoops) of warm water at 40°C. Shake vigorously until a smooth, lump-free mixture is obtained. Prepare the milk at each feeding; do not store reconstituted mixtures for extended periods. Feed using a special puppy bottle or oral syringe as needed. Adjust the amount and frequency of feedings according to age, weight, and veterinary recommendations. For weaning, mix reconstituted milk with moist or soaked dry food until the desired consistency is reached.

- Prepare the milk at each meal to ensure hygiene and prevent microbial growth.
- Keep the water at 40°C to facilitate dissolution; never use very hot water.
- Avoid the formation of lumps by shaking vigorously or using a small whisk.
- Do not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment: in case of diarrhea, vomiting, lack of sucking or weight loss, consult the veterinarian immediately.
- In very weak or premature puppies, start feeding under veterinary supervision to adapt the concentration and frequency.
- Do not administer to species for which it is not indicated without professional consultation.
- Check the temperature of the milk before offering it (avoid very hot milk).

Recommended recipe: Soft weaning porridge for puppies
Ingredients (per serving):
- 15 ml of warm water (40 °C)
- 1 level teaspoon (≈3 g) of powdered infant formula
- 10–15 g of puppy food (dry or wet)

Preparation:
1. Reconstitute the milk by mixing 3 g of powder in 15 ml of warm water until homogeneous.
2. Lightly crush the dry feed or use wet feed.
3. Mix the reconstituted milk with the crushed feed until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous porridge.
4. Offer with a spoon or in a shallow dish; the consistency should allow the puppy to lick easily.
Tips: Start with thinner gruel and gradually thicken it as the puppy's sucking reflex and chewing ability mature. Prepare small, fresh portions for each feeding.

Suggested diet (guideline only; adjust with veterinarian)

Puppies 0–2 weeks: feed with formula every 2–3 hours (including nighttime). Small, frequent feedings; consult dosage according to weight.

Puppies 2–4 weeks: every 3–4 hours; start introducing gruels with milk replacer and rehydrated feed; gradually increase the consistency.

Puppies 4–8 weeks: Gradually transition to starter food. Reduce nighttime feedings; offer 3–4 feedings daily. Use milk as a supplement until complete weaning.

Pregnant/lactating females: Use as a caloric and vitamin supplement during late pregnancy and lactation to complement the usual diet; adjust rations according to body condition and veterinary recommendations.

Geriatric/convalescent dogs: Use as a food supplement to improve calorie intake and facilitate digestion; offer in small, frequent feedings and monitor tolerance.

Note: This diet is a guideline. Exact amounts depend on weight, age, breed, and health status. Always consult a veterinarian before establishing a feeding plan.
