The powder formulation allows for targeted application on baseboards, floors, and high-traffic areas, both indoors (kitchens, away from utensils, hallways, basements) and outdoors (balconies, terraces, paths, patios). Its effectiveness is based on the action of pyrethrins on the insects' nervous system, causing paralysis and mortality with low residual persistence in the environment compared to synthetic pyrethroids. The absence of pyrethroids and other synthetic agents facilitates certification for use in organic agriculture according to Regulation (EU) 2018/848, which may be of interest to users concerned with more natural pest management methods.
The powder formulation allows for the treatment of traces and entry points where ants travel and feed the colony, increasing the likelihood of the product being transferred to the nest and eliminated at the colony level.
