Urgo Filmogel Cold Sores Herpes Labial 3ml

Liquid dressing for the protection and treatment of lesions and symptoms of cold sores. It relieves itching, stinging and burning, prevents contagion, limits the outbreak of the cold sore and the formation of blisters and scabs, promotes healing and adapts to the shape and size of the cold sore. For ages 6 and up.

Instructions for use:

1. Apply the required amount to cover the fever using a disposable applicator on clean skin. After application, you may temporarily feel a slight stinging or burning sensation.
2. Allow to dry for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the film to form. Drying time depends on the amount of product applied.
3. A discreet film will form over the fever.
4. This liquid dressing is used in the initial phase (tingling, swelling, itching, stinging, etc.) up to 4 times a day to reduce the outbreak of fever.
5. For the following stages of treatment, apply as often as necessary, depending on the adhesion of the film to the skin and lips: 2 to 4 applications per day maximum.
6. Continue with the treatment until complete healing


Contraindications: Do not apply in the following cases: On fever blisters whose diameter is greater than 1 cm, which require medical advice.
In case of bacterial infection and/or risk of bacterial infection (impetigo).
In case of immunosuppression (due to chronic disease or chemotherapy-induced).
In case of atopic eczema.
Do not use if allergic to any of its components.
Due to the lack of studies in pregnant or lactating women, the use of this product is not recommended.

Precautions: Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure or: If you have more than 6 outbreaks per year.
In the absence of a favorable evolution after 7 days of treatment.
