Is the device reusable or should it be discarded after each use?
The device body is reusable; the lancets are disposable and for single use only. Reusing the body requires external cleaning and timely disinfection of the cap as directed.

Can alternative puncture sites (ALS) be used?
Yes. The transparent cap allows the LAP technique on the palm, forearm, or upper arm when clinical indications and the measurement system permit it.

How is the risk of infection minimized?
The risk is reduced by using sterile lancets and disposing of them after a single use, cleaning the device externally with mild soap, and disinfecting the cap with 70% alcohol for 10 minutes; alcohol concentrates activity against bacteria, viruses, and fungi on surfaces.

Is a health certificate required for its use?
Acquisition and use must comply with local health regulations and the supplier's recommendations; any specific certifications should be found on the manufacturer's label or in the product's technical data sheet.

What should be done with used lancets?
Lancets should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations for sharps and needlestick waste; they should not be shared or disposed of in uncontrolled household waste.

Is the device compatible with glucose test strips?
The device only facilitates obtaining the capillary sample; the application of the sample on test strips must be done according to the specifications of the glucose measurement system used.

Step 1: The device cap is twisted and removed.
Step 2: The sterile lancet is inserted into the lancet holder until it is secured.
Step 3: The lancet's protective disc is rotated and removed.
Step 4: The plug is replaced until a click is heard, indicating correct assembly.
Step 5: The puncture depth is selected by rotating the adjustable tip until the arrow aligns with the desired point.
Step 6: Pull the slider until you hear the arming click; the color indicator will show readiness for release.
Step 7: The device is placed in the puncture area and the release button is pressed to perform the puncture.
Step 8: The first drop of blood is removed with a clean absorbent material; the next drop is applied onto the test strip.
Step 9: The lancet is removed by unscrewing the protective cap and disposed of according to local regulations for sharps waste.
Routine cleaning: external cleaning with mild soap and water; disinfection of the stopper by immersion in 70% alcohol for 10 minutes and air drying.

- In case of mechanical failure of the release or assembly mechanism, it is recommended to suspend its use and consider replacement for safety reasons.
