Peha Haft 6cm x 4m cohesive elastic bandage combines elasticity and adhesion between layers to provide stable support for dressings, gauze and supports in healthcare, sports and first aid applications.
Its textile structure based on cotton, viscose and polyamide provides adaptability to the body contour, allowing homogeneous compression without the need for external adhesives.
The cohesive property ensures that the bandage stays in place with few turns, reducing material consumption and facilitating handling in emergency situations.
The material is air permeable, which promotes ventilation of the skin under the bandage and minimizes the risk of maceration during intermittent use.
The cohesion between layers prevents adherence to the skin, hair or clothing, facilitating removal and reducing discomfort in sensitive areas.
The bandage can be cut or torn manually, eliminating the need for scissors in quick applications.
Indicated for securing post-procedure dressings, light compression in sprains and muscle strains, partial immobilization of hands, ankles and joints, temporary support in sports activity and securing medical devices (tubes, cannulas) in extra-hospital and clinical environments.
It does not provide antimicrobial action or a barrier effect against microorganisms; its function is mechanical (support and compression), so, in the case of contaminated wounds or infection, its use should be assessed in the corresponding clinical context.

- Effective fixation between layers without adhesives on the skin, allowing stable hold with few turns.
- Breathable and soft, it reduces the risk of irritation and promotes skin ventilation.
- Hand-torn, makes application easy without tools.
- Controlled elasticity that offers homogeneous compression and anatomical adaptability.
- It does not stick to the skin, hair or clothing, making it easier to remove and reducing discomfort.
- Useful in healthcare, sports and first aid settings as a support bandage and dressing fastener.
Is this bandage sterile?
No; the bandage is sold as non-sterile. It is commonly used to secure sterile dressings, but for direct application to open wounds requiring sterility, sterile materials should be used.
Does it adhere to the skin or to hair?
No; the adhesion is between the layers of the bandage (cohesive), so it does not stick to the skin, hair, or clothing.
Can it be applied without scissors?
Yes; the bandage allows manual tearing along its weave, eliminating the need for scissors in most applications.
Is it reusable?
No; it is considered single-use for hygiene and adhesive effectiveness reasons. Reuse reduces holding power and increases the risk of contamination.
Does it offer protection against bacteria, viruses, or fungi?
No; the bandage has no antimicrobial or bactericidal/virucidal effect. Its function is mechanical (fixation and compression), not microbial.
Is it waterproof?
It is not completely waterproof; it maintains some resistance to surface moisture, but adhesion and integrity can be affected by prolonged exposure to water.
Can it be used for medical compression?
Provides light/moderate compression suitable for support and control of mild inflammation. It is not a substitute for compression bandages specifically prescribed for chronic venous disease or thrombosis; its use for therapeutic compression should be evaluated by a healthcare professional.
-The area is cleaned and dried before applying the bandage.
-The dressing or element to be fixed is placed on the skin following the clinical indications.
-The bandage is rolled with uniform pressure, avoiding excessive tension that could compromise perfusion.
-When the desired length is reached, the bandage is manually torn along the weave.
-The ends are adjusted by overlapping layers until the necessary stable support is achieved.
-Distal perfusion (color, temperature, sensitivity) is checked after placement and periodically during use.
- Do not apply with excessive tension or leave compressions that cause numbness, paleness or loss of distal pulse; in these cases, it should be loosened or removed.
- Avoid prolonged use on macerated, erythematous skin or skin with signs of infection without prior health evaluation.
- Do not use as a substitute for braces or rigid splints when complete immobilization is required; its function is support and light compression.
- Remove if pain, tingling, a cold sensation or circulatory disturbances occur.
- Non-sterile: When sterile material is required directly on the wound, choose specifically sterilized products.
- Avoid use in patients with a known allergy to any of the textile components (cotton, viscose, polyamide).
- Discard after use; do not reuse due to risk of loss of cohesion and contamination.
- Store in a dry place and protected from direct light; avoid extreme temperatures that may alter elasticity.
-Bandage 6 cm wide x 4 m long. Individual presentation (1 unit per package).
