The product is formulated as a protective and bioelastic dressing intended to improve the appearance of already formed scars through three complementary mechanisms: controlled occlusion, targeted hydration, and protection against UV radiation. The polyurethane film provides comfortable adhesion, water resistance, and flexibility to accompany skin movement, reducing mechanical friction that can aggravate the tactile perception of the scar. The Be+ Skin Barrier Protection® system helps favor the balance of the local microbiota, contributing to a skin microenvironment that supports tissue remodeling processes without being a specific antimicrobial agent; therefore, it does not constitute a product for the elimination of bacteria, viruses, or fungi.
Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid facilitates water retention in the superficial and middle layers of the dermis, supporting the function of fibroblasts and the flexibility of scar tissue, resulting in improved texture and reduced feelings of tightness and itching. The incorporation of an SPF 50+ sunscreen filter over the dressing matrix offers a barrier against UV radiation, reducing the risk of post-scar hyperpigmentation in exposed areas.
The design allows for use during daily activities and showers (water resistance), with maintained adhesion that can be effective between 24 and 72 hours depending on anatomical location, sweating, and friction. It is recommended to replace the patch when it loses adhesion or shows visible contamination. It is not indicated for open wounds, areas with scabs, sutures, or signs of infection; its function is cosmetic and supportive of the tissue reorganization process in closed scars.
Compatible with body hygiene routines: water resistance allows exposure to bath gels and shower gel without an immediate decrease in functionality. The use of deodorants or other cosmetics on the edges of the patch may alter adhesion; in intimate areas, use is feasible as long as the scar is closed and there is no contact with mucous membranes. It is not designed for use in the oral cavity, so it is not related to mouthwashes or toothbrushes. Its application does not replace medical evaluation in pathological scars (severe hypertrophic or keloid), where dermatological assessment or surgery may be necessary.
It is indicated for aesthetic use and localized skin protection; its use in pediatrics should consider the area and size of the patch. Storage at room temperature, away from direct light, preserves adhesive characteristics and the integrity of the filters. The formulation is not intended to be reused: each patch has a single use cycle and should be discarded after use.

What is the main indication for this patch?
Indicated for the treatment of already closed scars with the aim of improving their appearance, texture, and associated symptoms (tension, itching), as well as providing localized sun protection.
How long does it protect and remain adhered?
Protection and adhesion continue effectively between 24 and 72 hours, depending on the anatomical area, sweating, and friction; it should be replaced when the patch loses adhesion or shows visible contamination.
Does the patch eliminate bacteria, viruses, or fungi?
No. The product is not an antimicrobial. It favors the balance of the skin microbiota through its barrier system, but does not eliminate pathogens nor replace antiseptic measures in infected wounds.
Can it be cut to fit the size of the scar?
Yes, the patch can be cut to size to cover the scar while respecting the integrity of the adhesive edge; the cut should be clean to avoid fraying that affects adhesion.
Can it be used on scars in intimate areas or near mucous membranes?
It can be used on closed scars in intimate areas as long as the application does not involve direct contact with mucous membranes. It is not designed for intraoral use; it should not come into contact with mouthwashes or toothbrushes.
Is it reusable?
No. Each patch is designed for a single use cycle; reuse does not guarantee adhesion or proper hygiene.
Can it be combined with other topical treatments?
It is not advisable to apply creams or ointments under the patch unless medically indicated, as they may affect adhesion and the effectiveness of the dressing. Products applied around may alter the adhesive seal.
Is it suitable for children and adolescents?
It can be used in minors as long as the scar is closed and the size of the patch is appropriate; in minors, adult supervision is advisable, and if necessary, assessment by a professional.
1. The affected area should be cleaned and dried completely to optimize the adhesion of the patch.
2. If necessary, the patch can be trimmed to the exact size of the scar with clean scissors.
3. Remove the protective layer and place the patch over the closed scar, ensuring complete contact of the edges with the skin.
4. Maintain continuous use for the indicated time, replacing it with a new one when adhesion decreases or it gets dirty.
5. During showering, the patch maintains protection; avoid intense friction and the application of oily products on the adhesive edge.
6. Do not apply to open wounds, scabs, sutures, or areas with signs of infection; in those cases, seek medical evaluation.
- Do not use on unhealed wounds, scabs, sutures, staples, or areas with clinical signs of infection (erythema, heat, purulence).
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; in case of accidental contact, rinse with plenty of water.
- Do not ingest; for topical use only.
- Discontinue use and seek medical evaluation in case of persistent skin reactions, increasing erythema, or burning sensation.
- Store at room temperature, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources to maintain the functionality of the adhesive and the sunscreen.
- In areas with intense sweating or high mechanical friction, the duration of adhesion may be reduced; consider more frequent checks.
- Avoid applying deodorants, oils, or creams in the immediate area of the patch to not compromise fixation; its use with bath gels or shower gel while showering is compatible due to the water resistance of the dressing.
- Not reusable; each patch is discarded after its use cycle.
- Does not replace medical evaluation in scars with abnormal growth (hypertrophic or keloid) or in underlying pathological processes.
