Biretix Oil Control Solution is a topical solution designed for the care of oily and acne-prone skin. It aims to balance sebum production and improve skin texture through controlled chemical exfoliation. Its formula combines two complementary alpha-hydroxy acids: glycolic acid, with its low molecular weight and high penetration capacity, which promotes epidermal renewal and the fading of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation; and mandelic acid, with its larger molecular size, gentler exfoliating activity, and antibacterial properties, making it suitable for sensitive, acne-prone skin. Rose extract provides soothing and antioxidant properties that help alleviate irritation associated with exfoliation, preserving a feeling of skin comfort.

What skin type is it suitable for?
Suitable for oily and acne-prone skin, including sensitive oily skin thanks to the presence of mandelic acid and rose extract; it is not the first choice product for dry or atopic skin without supervision.
In what areas can it be applied?
Formulated for face; safe for use on neck and décolleté depending on skin tolerance. Not indicated for extensive body application without prior assessment.
What active ingredients does it contain and how do they work?
Main active ingredients: glycolic acid (epidermal renewal, mild depigmenting) and mandelic acid (gentler exfoliation, antibacterial activity), plus rose extract with calming and antioxidant properties.
When are the results visible?
Reduces shine from the first application; refines pores and improves texture in 2–4 weeks; reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in 4–8 weeks with regular use.
Can it be used during the day?
Its use during the day is possible, but chemical exfoliation increases skin sensitivity to UV radiation; therefore, it is always advisable to combine it with broad-spectrum facial sun protection during the day.
Is it compatible with retinoids or vitamin C?
Combining it with vitamin C is feasible if applied at different times (e.g., vitamin C in the morning, AHA at night). Simultaneous use with retinoids or other chemical exfoliants may increase irritation; it is suggested to stagger applications and assess tolerance.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Formulated to minimize irritation thanks to mandelic acid and rose extract; however, it may cause a slight initial stinging sensation. In case of marked sensitivity, consider spacing out applications or consulting a professional.
Is it comedogenic?
Non-comedogenic; formulated to not clog pores.
1. Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser and dry your skin.
2. Apply the solution to clean, dry facial skin once or twice a day, depending on skin tolerance.
3. Spread with a cotton pad or with gentle movements, avoiding the periocular contour and mucous membranes.
4. In case of daytime use, accompany with a broad spectrum facial sunscreen (sun protection) and reapply according to exposure.
5. In combined routines, consider vitamin C in the morning and the solution at night; space out or stagger other exfoliants or retinoids to reduce the risk of irritation.
Avoid direct contact with eyes and mucous membranes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
A slight stinging or tight feeling is normal during the first few applications; if irritation persists, reduce the frequency of use or discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
During treatment, increase photoprotection measures: the use of a high factor facial sunscreen is essential to prevent sun damage and the appearance of hyperpigmentation.
Keep out of reach of children and avoid extreme temperatures.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare professional before starting treatment with alpha-hydroxy acids.
Perform a tolerance test on a small area if there is a history of high sensitivity.
