The combination of 2% salicylic acid and an AHA/BHA/PHA exfoliating complex (glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and gluconolactone) provides multi-faceted action that addresses the main factors involved in the appearance of blemishes: unclogging pores, removing dead skin cells, and controlling excess sebum.
Its gel texture creates a soft foam that facilitates deep cleaning without causing a feeling of tightness.
Mechanism of action and main active ingredients
- Salicylic acid 2%: acts as a keratolytic and lipophilic agent, penetrating the pores to reduce comedones and control the formation of new blemishes.
- AHA/BHA/PHA complex: glycolic acid (AHA) exfoliates the skin surface and helps to reduce post-acne blemishes; gluconolactone (PHA) provides gentle exfoliation and greater tolerance in sensitive skin, improving texture; BHA (salicylic acid, already included in the formula) reinforces the anti-pore action.
