CeraVe Smoothing Moisturizing Cream is a specific formula designed to improve the texture of dry and rough skin. It contains 10% urea, a powerful humectant that retains moisture and softens the skin. Salicylic acid and LHA provide gentle and controlled exfoliation, removing dead skin cells and facilitating skin renewal. MVE® technology allows for prolonged release of active ingredients, providing hydration throughout the day.
Additionally, it incorporates three essential ceramides that strengthen and repair the natural skin barrier, helping to protect the skin from external agents and irritants. Hyaluronic acid complements the moisturizing effect by retaining water in the epidermis, while niacinamide helps soothe potential irritations and strengthen the barrier function.
Its cream texture is non-greasy and absorbs quickly, suitable for facial application, neck, and other affected areas with dry skin or keratosis pilaris. It is suitable for skin with atopic tendency and has been favorably evaluated in these, as well as in sensitive skin. It is recommended for adults aged 30 and older who seek to improve hydration and softness of skin affected by dryness or roughness.
