Blemil Plus AR offers a specific nutritional strategy for infants with physiological regurgitation. Viscosity is achieved through carob seed flour (3%) and corn starch, which reduces the frequency and volume of regurgitation without interfering with the absorption of macronutrients and micronutrients. The formulation includes long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (DHA and ARA) that support the development of the central nervous system and visual function, as well as nucleotides that promote the maturation of the digestive and immune systems. The combination of short- and long-chain fructooligosaccharides (GOS 3%) aims to mimic the prebiotic effect of breast milk, promoting the growth of intestinal bifidobacteria. The probiotics Bifidobacterium infantis and Lactobacillus rhamnosus are also included to modulate the infant's gut microbiota.
This formula is designed as an alternative or complement to breast milk when sucking or breastfeeding technique does not allow for adequate control of regurgitation, always in coordination with a pediatrician. Its composition includes lipids of vegetable origin and fish oil as a source of DHA, whey proteins, and a complete vitamin-mineral matrix to meet the needs of the first year of life. It contains choline, taurine, inositol, and L-carnitine, along with a range of antioxidants (tocopherols, ascorbyl palmitate) and a mineral profile that includes iron, zinc, iodine, and selenium.

It is not a substitute for breast milk; it can be used as an infant formula or as a complementary formula when breastfeeding does not adequately control regurgitation. Pediatric evaluation is recommended.
Is it suitable for babies with allergies?
Suitable for celiacs and those with egg allergies. Not suitable for those with cow's milk protein allergies. Contains soy, phenylalanine, and fish.
Can it be used with breast milk or a breast pump?

Preservation and time after opening?
Consume the can within the period recommended by the manufacturer (usually 1 month from opening) and use the prepared milk in less than one hour.
How is the material sterilized?
The bottle, teat, and ring should be sterilized by boiling for 10 minutes or using a standard sterilization method. Microwave heating is not recommended due to the risk of hot spots.
Do the probiotics remain viable after preparation?
The formulated probiotics offer benefits in the powdered product. Survival after reconstitution depends on time and temperature; therefore, the prepared milk should be administered immediately and not reused.

If using tap water, it must be boiled beforehand and allowed to cool to the temperature indicated for preparation.
1) Sterilization: boil the bottle, teat and screw cap for 10 minutes or use a standard sterilization method.

Recommended recipe (from 6 months): Fruit puree with a base of Blemil Plus AR
Ingredients: 120 ml of milk prepared as directed (4 measures x 30 ml), 30–40 g of natural apple or pear puree without added sugar, 5 g of fine oat flakes cooked in water.
Preparation and use: Combine the prepared milk with the fruit puree and cooked oats until a smooth texture is obtained; offer as a complementary feeding alongside breastfeeding or formula, according to age and pediatric recommendations. This recipe is suggested only when the baby has started complementary feeding and under professional supervision.
Suggested diet in stages integrating the formula:
- 0–6 months: Primary feeding with exclusive breast milk or formula (Blemil Plus AR when physiological regurgitation is present and after pediatric consultation). Avoid solid foods.
- 6–9 months: transition to mixed feeding. Maintain several formula feedings per day (according to needs and weight) and introduce purees and porridges (fruits, gluten-free cereals initially, vegetables). Formula can be used as a base for porridges and to maintain the intake of DHA, nucleotides, and probiotics.
- 9–12 months: increase variety and texture of foods; divide formula feedings and adapted solid foods. Monitor digestive tolerance.
Integration into the diet should be individualized and carried out under pediatric supervision, respecting the priority of breast milk when possible.
